King's Men After Hashan

It is reported that an attempt is being made to arrest UNP Member for Western PC and former national cricketer Hashan Tillekeratne alleging that he had given protection to Danuna Tillekeratne, son-in-law of Gen. Sarath Fosneka.

The CID has sought advice from the Attorney General whether Hashan could be arrested on such charges. The CID has informed the Attorney General that Dununa Tillekeratne stayed with Mr. Hashan Tillekeratne during a certain period in February.   

The CID searched Hashan's residence at Piliyandala to look for Danuna Tillekeratne and had questioned Mrs. Apsari Tillekeratne and Hashan's mother. Later, the CID questioned Hashan as well.
