Sajith and Company launches special operation to chase party seniors

Sajith Premadasa and his group of supporters are planning on chasing away the UNP seniors in order to capture power in the party, it is reliably learnt.

The first step of the plan is to keep Ranil Wickremesinghe as the party leader for a temporary period and remove deputy leader Karu Jayasuriya and secretary Tissa Attanayake from their positions in the party. Also, Gamini Jayawickrema Perera, Joseph Michael Perera and Ravi Karunanayake are to be removed from the positions held by them in the party. 

It is learnt that Sajith and his supporters have arrived at an agreement to appoint Lakshman Seneviratne as the party’s secretary, Sajith as the deputy leader, Gayantha 

  Karunathileka as assistant leader, Rosy Senanayake as chairman and Dayasiri Jayasekera as national organizer.

A close confidant of Lakshman Seneviratne told us that Seneviratne is not part of any such conspiracy.

He further noted that Senevairtane was of the opinion that a complete overhaul of the party from top to bottom was needed.
