DNA releases manifesto

The Democratic National Alliance (DNA) in its election manifesto launched this morning pledged to free all political prisoners who are being unjustifiably detained by the government along with General (retd.)Sarath Fonseka.

 

 

It also pledged to pay compensation to all those who were victimized before and after the presidential elections of this year as well as abolish the executive presidency. 

 

The DNA manifesto also promised to reduce the Cabinet to 30 members and make it a constitutionally mandatory provision for the future. 

 

It also promised a pay raise of Rs10, 000 for public servants. 

 

The manifesto much ceremony was attended by Mrs.Anoma Fonseka and JVP Leader Somawansa Amarasinghe along with several other prominent JVP members.
