SriLankan Airlines to be sold again?
The SriLankan Airlines is faced with a severe financial crisis and is reportedly unable to pay even the salary increments of the workers. The 10% salary increment that was agreed upon in the agreement between the management and workers is yet to be granted.
The airline is currently running a bank overdraft after spending the millions that were in the airline’s bank count when Emirates moved out of the national carrier’s operations. Conditions have now been created for a complete revamping of the airline management.
